Summary of Job

• To sample and analyze raw materials, In-process and Intermediates, cleaning samples and finished products in shifts.

Key Responsibilities

(Performance Indicators)

• Responsible for sampling and analysis of raw materials, In-process and Intermediates, cleaning samples and finished products in shifts.

• Responsible for releasing the in-process and intermediates for further process in shifts. 

• Responsible for planning and timely completion of holding time study samples of intermediates.

• Responsible for preparation and standardization of volumetric solutions and reagents.

• Calibrating all the instruments as per schedule and standard procedure.

• Maintaining zero effluent discharge in lab and also see that all the analyzed samples are recycled.

• Keeping adequate inventory of all chemicals, cylinders and spares.

Qualification & Experience

• M.Sc. (Organic / Analytical) with 2 – 3 years or B.Sc. with 4 –5  years in QC / IPQC lab of continuous chemical plants.

Key

Competencies ( Technical, Functional & Behavioral)

• Working knowledge of HPLC, GC, TLC, AAS, UV, IR, and GC – MS etc.
• Analytical skills in interpretation of instrumental data.
