The Position
Maintenance Planner, Facilities
Kirkland, Quebec | Jubilant Radiopharma
Do you enjoy turning maintenance priorities into clear, executable plans? Are you the person who anticipates what will be needed, identifies roadblocks before they become problems, and makes sure teams have what they need to get the job done?
We want to meet you.
Jubilant Radiopharma is looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to support JHS and JDI operations in Kirkland. This is an opportunity to play an important role in the reliability of our equipment, critical utilities, and facilities within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Why this role stands out
This is much more than managing a maintenance calendar. You will work across teams, coordinate a wide range of technical activities, and help shape how work is planned, prepared, and executed.
Your scope includes maintenance planning for HVAC, electrical distribution, emergency power, plumbing, fire protection, compressed air and gases, water systems, chillers, boilers, building automation systems, and other facility assets.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Build and maintain an integrated preventive, predictive, corrective, and statutory maintenance schedule.
- Turn maintenance needs into clear, execution-ready job plans.
- Coordinate priorities, resources, materials, contractors, permits, and facility access.
- Play an important role in planning semi-annual, annual, and other scheduled shutdowns.
- Monitor preventive maintenance and calibration requirements using SAP/CMMS and BMRAM.
- Partner closely with Operations, Quality, Validation, Engineering, HSE, Security, and other stakeholders.
- Track backlog, schedule compliance, overdue work, and maintenance KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Help coordinate contractors, spare parts, external services, and critical facility activities.
Person Profile
You may be a great fit if you have:
- A college diploma or technical degree in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, building mechanics, mechanical or electrical engineering technology, facility management, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant maintenance or facility-planning experience.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep multiple priorities moving.
- Experience working with CMMS systems; knowledge of SAP PM and BMRAM is a strong asset.
- An understanding of building systems, utilities, and maintenance operations.
- A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach.
- Functional bilingualism in French and English.
Experience in pharmaceutical, radiopharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, chemical, or another regulated manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
